Looking for a quick and delicious lunch recipe? I’ve got a great recipe for you: turkey wrap with apples and Brie.
Apples, cheese and turkey - what a tasty combination! You can eat your wrap cold, or cook it in a skillet, grilling pan, panini-press or even in the oven. Today I’ll show you how to make it on a grilling pan, it so easy and takes less than 10 minutes to prepare it.
Ingredients:
Whole-grain or whole-wheat tortilla
Dijon mustard
Honey
Turkey slices
Brie cheese
Apple
Spinach spinach
Cooking spray or 1 tsp of olive oil.
Directions:
First, mix mustard with honey. Cut your apple and slice the cheese. Then, cover one surface of tortilla with mustard mix. Place turkey slices on one side of a wrap, top up with apple slices and Brie cheese. Top it off with some spinach.
Fold over the wrap, brush on olive oil or spray with cooking spray, then place it on a pre-heated cast iron grilling skillet for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the wrap gets warm.
You can also use a panini press for about a minute or two, or toast the wraps into a pre-heated 375 degree oven for 5-10 minutes.
Cut each wrap in half on the diagonal, and serve them up.
There are so many ways you can change up this sandwich. Make a roast beef and brie wrap, ham and swiss wrap, you can use pears instead of apple, a different soft cheese, or roasted turkey leftovers instead of turkey slices. Let your imagination be your guide!
